  • These three booklets explore metaphorical representations of social standards. The books are inspired by the nursery rhyme The Butcher, The Baker and The Candlestick Maker. I explored how these three standards could represent ideas today.

The first booklet, The Green Of Meat, representing the butcher, discusses how the human form is treated like a piece of meat, cut and sliced to our own envious dreams of perfection.

The second booklet, We All Need Dough, represented by the baker, explores our obsession with money and the greed that follows.

The last installment pokes fun societies voyeuristic nature of celebrity culture and talent/reality TV shows. This is represented by the candlestick maker in that we want to shine a light on a lot of subject matter.
