For this project I was asked to create a short movie communicating aspects of my self. However the movie was to be shot entirely with a mobile phone, no effects or post production was allowed other than minor editing such as cutting and sound.
I started to consider what things I like and dislike as a basis as what to make the movie about. After writing a lengthy list I found a pattern in the list that the over whelming aspect about me was that I liked freedom. With this in mind I based the narrative of my motion piece around the idea that remote communication such as a mobile phone as well as social networking sites can push us apart instead of bring us together in that we are controlled by them.
